Imagine how much less that incident would have stuck out so negatively for him if the people around had defended him and shut that woman down? Imagine the positive feelings he would have had when he remembered that moment. That’s why its important to never be a bystander who is essentially condoning the discriminatory and harrassing behavior.
Episode 1x10 of Shadowhunters is just the best thing ever. I mean outside of Alec apparently needing to be protected from literally everyone. It's ten episodes in how is it that boy has been through so much already?
Seeing Simon versus that cop was a lot of fun to watch. it feels like it was the first time he let himself just relax into himself. And the relationship before Simon and Luke is just too cute. I hope they get a lot more scenes together.
I'm on the fence about Lydia. She's a lot like Alec. Just trying to do right by everyone else's rules and all that's happened in her past. She's a good little soldier to a ruler that doesn't care about her and that's so sad.
